A quick note about affiliate links.

Some pages on CybrSafer include affiliate links. That means if you click a link and buy something, I may earn a commission. It does not cost you extra, and it helps keep this site running.

I know affiliate links can make people skeptical, especially in the cybersecurity space. Honestly, fair. A lot of review sites recommend the same tools over and over, and from the outside, it can be hard to tell what is genuinely useful and what is just being pushed because it pays well.

That is exactly why I try to be clear about how this works here.

Affiliate links do not decide my recommendations

A commission does not guarantee a product will be recommended on CybrSafer. I only recommend tools I believe are worth considering based on my own research, testing, and comparison process.

That includes looking at how the product works in real life, how easy it is to use, how it handles privacy, what the pricing looks like, and whether it actually makes sense for the person reading.

The simple version:

If a product is annoying, overpriced, confusing, weak on privacy, or just not a good fit, I’ll say that. Even if it has an affiliate program.

Some tools I recommend may not pay anything

Not every product or service mentioned on CybrSafer has an affiliate program. Sometimes the best option for a certain use case does not pay a commission at all, and that is fine.

The goal is to help you make a good decision, not force every recommendation into a monetized link.

Prices and offers can change

I try to keep information accurate, but pricing, discounts, features, and terms can change without much warning (security companies love doing that, apparently).

Always check the provider’s website before buying, especially if price, renewal cost, device limits, or refund terms matter to your decision.

My goal

CybrSafer exists to make cybersecurity and privacy tools easier to understand. Affiliate links help support the site, but they do not change the main goal: giving you clear, practical advice so you can choose tools that actually fit your needs.

If something is worth using, I’ll explain why. If something has drawbacks, I’ll explain those too.
