Got a question, suggestion, correction, or cybersecurity topic you’d like me to look into? You’re in the right place. CybrSafer is a one-person site, so while I can’t promise instant replies, I do read messages myself.

I’m especially happy to hear from beginners. Half the reason this site exists is because cybersecurity advice online can feel weirdly intimidating for no reason.

If you believe one of your accounts, devices, or financial accounts has been compromised, contact the appropriate provider, bank, platform, or a qualified security professional directly as soon as possible.

Before you send a message

If your question is about VPNs, antivirus software, password managers, parental controls, privacy basics, phishing scams, or staying safer online, there’s a decent chance I’ll turn it into a future guide if it’s something other people are probably wondering too. A lot of the content on CybrSafer starts with regular questions from people who are trying to make sense of confusing tools, privacy settings, or conflicting advice online.

What I probably won’t answer are emergency “my computer is hacked please fix it right now” emails sent at 2 AM with seventeen screenshots attached. I can point people in the right direction for general topics, but I can’t provide urgent one-on-one support, account recovery, or crisis response.
